Kulai's Nasi Lemak house

It was a boring saturday morning, totally no plans for the whole day. When suddenly a message from Raymond asking if i want to go along to Kulai for makan & Pump. My reply was "YES!! YES!!"

Met up at GP Petronas 9.30pm, was surprise to see no one at the petrol station, but soon everyone came, was also surprise to see so few people came! Anyway, Marc suggested to Kulai Nasi Lemak! Wow! I've heard of it so many time, but just didnt had a chance to visit that place. Tonight is the chance!

Upon reaching, it wasn't as deserted as what the others said, the stall was actually a big house, the stall is located at the entrance of the house. Well, parking is not so bad, can see vehicle from where we sit. The food is very normal, home cooking style, but the special thing is, its very nice and yummy!!!!!

The location of the Nasi Lemak House!! Did u see the Ramly Burger stall too ?
I had 1 Beef burger immediately after a plate of nasi lemak! Whhoooooooo yummy!!!!

The half eaten nasi lemak! Very simple cooking that makes my day!

We all love it!! Except Charlie and Avril hahaha......

3 Nation Charity Ride 2007 KL

Our Team :
☺Jason & Jean Busa
☺Charlie & Avril Busa
☺Andrew Busa
☺Alan &  Carine  Fazer
☺Damien & Sarah (Picanto)
☺Maverik Busa (joined us halfway just before Yong Peng)

Our 3NCR plans
Day 1 : Ride off to KL, Collect 3NCR Goodies, some shopping some dinner, party at Hard Rock.
Day 2: Eat breakfast and find "mua chee", do some shopping, Visit Asia Bike expo, Do some more shopping, Gala dinner, try to find famous Claypot Rice.
Day 3: Wake up very early, meet main convoy at KL Tower and flag off to Sepang, watch Sepang Moto GP '07, go Ayer Keroh eat A & W, Go Home.
The long wait for the 3 Nation Charity Ride 2007 KL is finally here. We decided not to follow the S'pore Conveoy from team, TEAM27. We were afraid the convoy will be moving very slowly and most of the time not cutting traffic, making the entire journey slow and tiring....
We gather at GP Petronas, moved off at 7AM, so we will not to get stuck at with the main SG convoy which is meeting here around 9-10am. The other reason why we are leaving so early is not to get caught in KL jam and the last reason why we are leaving so early.... so the girls could make some shopping before the Hard Rock cafe party!!!!!

Meeting at the usual point, GP Petronas.

Maverik called to said he will be late and told us its ok not to wait for him, we did a quick pump and had a short briefing and off we go, our plan was to make 1 stop at Pagoh so we could ensure our tanks are still wet before we touch KL. The riding off was fun as everyone is very eager to ride at high speed with their big bikes, within 5-10 minutes of riding, we were touring approx 200km/hr.

The first disaster struck when Alan's Fazer suddenly lost power, Realising something is wrong with Alan's riding style as he slowed down, I slowed down with him to the shoulder lane while Andrew from behind me zoom pass us to signal Charlie that sometime is not right. When we stopped, Alan told me that his bike suddenly has lost power, we check for a while and realise his ignition wiring is working intermittently, there is no way to start his bike despite the starter motor is cranking... Removing the spark plug and crank confirms that his spark plugs are not sparking too, we gave up as there is no way to trace wires without approbate tools and wiring digram, and the best thing is Alan took out his "owner's Manual" and told me it is the "Servicing Manual"... BEST!
Soon Damien, Sarah, Charlie, Andrew arrived, after some discussion and phone calls, we decided to bring Alan's bike to the nearest petrol station. Just as we were about to discuss the operation, Maverik came along solo and joined us with the operations. In the end, the riders left for Pagoh while Andrew sacrifice his macho falcon to pull/tow Alan's sparrow with Damien's car behind.
When everyone arrived at Pagoh, all the guys made calls for information on towing services in Mysia & S'pore. We finally settle down on the cheapest of RM$400. While waiting for the tow truck, many bikes soon arrived heading for the 3NCR event, we were already feeling demoralized, but its ok, for its to make sure our friend is ok and his bike will be in good hands....

Approx 2 hrs passed and the tow truck finally arrived, rejoiced and happily assisting in loading up Alan's bike, soon we realise everyone at the Petrol station were watching us, many even took pictures,,, OMG, please dont hit the news again like the way we were accidentally caught in GP Illegal race. Anyway once everything is settled, we quickly got ready and leave for KL.

Alan arriving shortly after us, he claims the Falcon tower towed him at 150KM/hr OMG!!
No wonder he keep searching for his balls if there were still there hahah...

Tow truck came, everyone assist in loading Alan's bike,
while others riders were busy snapping pictures of this "wonderful" scene.

Spotted busa fitted with a stable bracket for 3 boxes.
Drool Alan, ya sell ur fazer and get a busa, since u seen the Busa with 3 box!!

No long after riding towards KL, it started to rain, we slowed down for precautions, when suddenly I notice something rolling across the road into the Road shoulder in front of a big lorry, thinking something is wrong at the same time, I saw Charlie and Maverik soon slowed down while changing lane to the road shoulder. I guess I was right, an accident just happened, someone had skidded. We all came to a stop and ran to help the poor guy, some helped to bring the victim's bike to the road shoulder. It was a blue super4 rider, he said he braked to hard and skidded, fortunately no vehicle ran into him. Charlie & Avril applied some medical aid on him. Soon ensuring that the poor guy is in a stable condition and is able to ride, we touch the road once more......

Reaching Seramban Tol and made our way to a nearby Petronas,
didnt know they sell Dunkin' Donuts! We make a grab for some!

Finally reached KL safe n sound, but the next boring thing is the KL Traffic JAM. Luckily I had installed a fan switch earlier to cool my engine earlier before reaching the "hot" level. I didn't had time and didn't want to install the second fan to cool the engine faster, time is short and its costly to get the materials/items too. I turned on the fan earlier but it seems useless in the end... the temperature still climbed slowly but the heating duration is shorter that it should have been.

Our plan was to collect out 3NCR goodies at Concorde Hotel then check into our Swiss Inn hotel and have a short rest before going to shopping, dinner and, Hard Rock for the 3NCR party!!!!

KL Tower and the twin tower!!

Jean took a quick snap while traffic is RED!

The Roads has banners to welcome announce 3NCR event!

Another Banner that says the road is only for Riding, not driving for a certain time.

Finally Arriving at KL Concorde, quickly took our 3NCR goodie bags and ride off haha...

Some more traffic be4 reaching our Hotel,
parked our bikes right in front of the Hotel for the security to keep their eyes on them

We are really tired as usual after long rides.

Jean & I had delux room to ourselves, so were Alan & Carine, but Avril & Sarah, same for Damien, Charlie & Andrew had to share among themselves 2 rooms because there is a rider without a partner. Maverik didnt booked the hotel rooms with us so he checked into a small hotel beside ours and it cost almost RM$30 per night, almost 10 time lesser than ours ... :~~~( but the toilet is shared commonly while the aircon is not turned on most of the time in the afternoon. I wont want to stay there with my Wife, unless I'm alone, then its not a problem :)

Goodie Bags!!

We were not traditionally married, so mama says cannot sleep together!!

Our room and beds...

Everyone had their wonderful rest & shower, we went shopping !! Everyone bought something for themselves except for Jean & I. I didnt find anything interesteing and she didnt buy her shoe because there isn't any size for her left. The next destination is to din at a restaurant Charlie & Avril highly recommend for first comers. The opening drink was a surpirse, it was "Chilli Paddie Vodka" No one knew what it was until we drank it.... some of us felt nothing, some felt it was diffiult to drink, others cant take it, hahaha. The dishes were very tasty and non that I usually had, it was different from S'pore dishes and it was really great. After dinner, everyone soon felt tired n sleepy, result of the days' stress and riding. We didnt join the Hard Rock party, Jean, Avril and Carin looked abit sad..... Anyway, We left for out hotels.

"The Stolen CREPE" Charlie tried Jason's peanut Crepe and find it very nice,
he took it a n ran away... Jason gave chase...

Telawi Stree Bristo Restaurant, Unique Vodka and very tasty food.

The Mushroom soup is the BEST!

The very next morning, we meet very early to have our breakfast just behind out hotel, its known as "China Town" in KL, PETALING STREET. Avril & Charlie brought us to see those different flavors "Mua Chee". Wow, this is the first time I've seen so many different flavors, from Chocolate to lychee to apple, grape, kiwi, lemond, etc, etc... Out of no topic, Alan started his story on "why mua chee need to mix with peanuts powders" again.... everyone gave him a good scolding on repeating the lame dirty joke so many times.

Mua Chee of different Flavors.

We came to a coffee shop to have our breakfast, the food were ok but the coffee is slightly thick, just nice for my taste buds.... Jean and I finished our breakfast early and left the group so we could do some quick shopping since its at "China Town". We bargained out ways to cheaper clothings and shorts and brought 3 bag full of cloths back to our hotel room before we all meet up and head for the KL Convention Center, where the Asian Bike Exhibition is held.

Some tasty Snacks and big curry chicken buns.

Breakfast

Very nice coffee.

Quick shopping

More shopping

Upon arriving, we were told before to enter the expo, all we need to do is wear the 3NCR black shirt and the entrance fee will be "free". But little did we know that our entry tickets were held by the organiser, and the worst thing is we are not together with them for bike exhibition. In the end we decide not to waste much time and purchase the ticket at special promotion price. As we stepped into the exhibition hall, it was a total disappointment. The exhibition is rather small and there is nothing much to see, even the race queens were "so-so" looking and not every station / bikes has 1. Pui.... Region level exhibition.... so lame.

KL Convention Center, where the Asia Bike Expo is held.

Some shoots from the Expo, one of those bikes that i would really like to get them dirty is the while one.

After walking a few rounds inside the expo, we all decided to leave and head for a nearby shopping center by the name of "SURIA" i guess... There, nothing much to buy but more of walking around and relaxing.... Before leaving for the Gala Dinner at KL Tower, we took some small bites at A&W and just as we were about to leave. Another disaster, Charlie, Avril and Andrew forgot their Gala Dinner coupon, looks like there were going to waste cab fare again going back to their hotel to get the coupons, but 2nd thought, they decide on trying their luck getting into the Gala Dinner without the coupons. Everyone decide on walking there since it seems it was just a 2 KM walk from the map in Andrew Gps.

MAC, Jean got something there...

We were so surprised to see this sign outside a toilet.....

A good 2km walk then climbing up the KL tower, it was building on top of a hill and in the centre of the building is the super tall tower, thats the KL Tower. Looks like luck is on our side. No one bothers about dinner coupon, anyone can just come and eat the buffet. Buffet dinner and various stalls are located the second level of the tower,. Jean and I bought some more shirts. Just before the dinner started, most of our friends from SAF and SBF came to join in the dinner. Buffet dinner was nothing great, but the burnouts & drag pickup of 2 monstrous drag bikes were more interesting, after the show before we left for our hotel once more.

Along the way to KL Tower.

Climbing up the KL Tower. A nice experience.

This is where the buffet dinner is

The girls.... very hapy to see one another...

The guys... "Cool looking" as ever...

DRAG BIKE!!

Watch the Drag ike roar to life!!

Just before we call it a night, we had our supper at the night food stall located around our hotel. Jean's mum claim it was very yummy and true it was, I didn't want to eat much be had 2 bowls in the end. After supper, we went to each other's hotel rooms to had a short chat while others did their last minute shopping at the "China Town Stalls" before we really call it a night.

A Ba Kua shop along the way.

The Claypot Stall.... open opens at night!!

I tell u... ITS REALLY GOOD!!!

YUMMY too!!!

We woke up early the next morning, coz we need to pack our stuff into my tank bag. With all the shoppings, I need to expand my tank bag to the maximum so it could hold all the new cloths. I tot i was ready early but Avril & Sarah already went downstairs to buy breakfast for us. Once we checked out and load baggages into Damien's Car, the riders left for KL Tower to join the convoy.

I decide to park right in front so we wont be smelling smoke along the way to Sepang.

A Pic where the Convoy parked.... KL Tower

One of the Longest bike for this 3NCR, and it has many stickers on its wind shiled showing it has been to many more before.

At KL Tower, I decided to park almost right infront so we will be somewhere in front of the line when the conveoy move off. I dont want to smell every bikes' smoke during the slow ride to Sepang. Since it was 830am, we had alot of time to take photos. The Convoy left for Sepang at 10.30am, it was nice to see the M'ysia TP leading and opening the traffic for us to ride none-stop to Sepang, the ride was smooth and without much effort, we reached Sepang Circuit.

The Moto GP 07 tickets, also in the 3NCR Bag.

The ride to Sepang.

Reaching Sepang

Happy faces.... the last major parking for this 3NCR event.

The Sepang Moto GP was tie in with the 3NCR for this year. Its free and its is my first time watching Moto GP Life. In then end, i didnt think i like to watch Moto GP at all, It was too hot and crowded here, I am tired from the rides and walks and everything was inconvenient. I guess there wont be a next time for Moto GP.

Most of the time i was dozing off and when im awake i starting taking silly photos. After 3 races, 125, 250 and 800cc. It was time to leave. Riding back was smooth but there's slight traffic along the way, we stopped at Ayer Kerok for A & W and petrol before riding back all the way to GP Petronas, filled up our last tank of petrol for this event and lazily left for home sweet home...~~

Ayer Kerok A & W.... Yummy again!!!

Finally Reaching GP Petronas, filled our bikes with gas and ride off home...
