Raymond brings us to Benut, M'ysia 26 Jan 2008

The last time Freddy wanted to bring us to Benut, but it was too late after everyone arrived at GP Petronas, instead we went to Kulai's nasi lemak. I was kinda sad because I heard so much about it but didnt had a chance to travel/eat there.

This time I asked Raymond if he could bring us to Benut and he agreed. Many people couldn't make it, so there wasn't such a big crowd this time. However, i was excited because it was my first time to Benut.

Benut is 85km away from GP Petronas, 70km of highway and 15+ of village road. Road condition at Benut wasn't so bad. Just that it was 1 lane 1 direction on each side. Travelling along the village road for the last 15km was a challenge, overtaking slower vehicles and avoiding sudden vehicle turning out from the side roads or from their house.

After the adventure, we parked our bikes infront of the restaurant "MEI WEI". We chose to sit outside the restaurant so we could look over our bikes.

we've ordered 5-6 dishes, the were some simple dishes like Kang kong veg, Swee sour "Kong Ba", Mimic Prawns, Fried Oyster Omelette , Deep fried pumpkin and last but no least, Shark's fin. Overall, everyone paid approx RM$20, not too ex for a meal that includes shark's fin huh! I would't say the food was special, it was a different feel with a further travelling distant unlike the usual Kulai "You Meng" and Perlin "Queens.
